*_Myanmar Food_*

the food below are given by my myanmar friend...khinzar...all frm myanmar. see the colour of the mango is orange red instead of yellow..its super sweet and i could smell it in the bus. the myanmar tea is thick but not sweet, different frm s'pore 'teh xi'. the dried prawns taste so good like the cuttlefish tt we practically ate it raw. s'pore ones always hav a stinky smell.

the blue packet is call " Laphat "...inside is the 2 plates of food shown below. inside the green plate is fried beans n the other plate is pickled tea leaves. the fried beans are very crispy & the seasame seeds smells veri nice..the pickled tea leaves has a veri special herbal fragrant.

my friend told me its myanmar traditional snack used to treat the guests with myanmar/chinese tea. they either mix the fried beans and the pickled tea leave or eat it separately with rice... i ate them wif porridge...very appetizing
